Trump International Hotel & Towers

News 9/6/12 Trump Sells Out

Hilton Grand Vacations snatches up 300 units of the Trump Tower to be used as timeshares. Fanny-packs will soon be a regular site at the once luxury resort. This sale brings the total units sold to roughly 700 of the 1,282-unit property. I suspect the Forbes and AAA ratings will drop eventually. Leave it to The Donald to put his wallet before his guests and condo owners.
Lets discuss this on the blog
Is this what is to become of Trump Vegas?

A look inside - photos by Charlie Shen

Trump Las Vegas is a condo-hotel-timeshare. The1,282-unit tower includes 880-studio units and 352-one-bedroom condominiums on floors 16 through 59 as well as 50 suites of one-, two-, or three-bedrooms on the Penthouse Level (top five floors). Purchase prices range from $600,000 to $6 million. As a hotel, nightly rates start at about $350.00.

The tower is clad in glass which contains a real gold layer. This is great for reflectivity, insulation and longevity.

Tower-one opened on March 31st 2008 and includes: a 10,000 sq. ft. spa, two signature restaurants - DJT & H2(EAU), 24-hour- in-room dining, a heated outdoor pool, and 2,460 square feet of meeting space.

The Donald has toyed with expanding his business operations to Las Vegas over the years. The interest in the $600 million, 64-story Trump International Hotel and Tower was so phenomenal, he plans to build a second identical tower on the site.

The Porte Cochere (far right), OK, is it me, or are those chandeliers a throwback to the 1960's.  Well, I guess
The Donald finds them elegant.

Trump News and Views

Encore at Wynn Las Vegas wins the neighborhood "Mine's Bigger than Yours" contest against Adelson (Palazzo) and Trump. The comedy here is the order in which these projects were announced. You guessed it, Palazzo was announced after Wynn, then Trump and finally Encore. Each being the tallest building in Las Vegas (on paper), for a brief time. Trump will top out first and hold the title until Encore soars eight whole feet taller.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Held - Sales Center Opened

7/12/05 Donald Trump announces the project's start. Steve Wynn, Phil Ruffin and others were in attendance. The $3-million sales center opened after the ceremony.

Trump International's $3-million, 8,100-square foot sales center (on the Strip in front of the New Frontier) opened on 7/12/05 after the groundbreaking ceremony for the towers.

The building will include models of a studio unit and a one-bedroom suite, a 10-foot replica of the building, audio-visual presentations, information kiosks and interactive computer monitors.
